Contracted Student Intern- Commissioner's Office 260003HE Description The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to hire an intern who will support the Commissioner's Office in Central Office Boston. Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive): - Advance strategies to mitigate risks of limited system capacity by improving inpatient discharge processes. - Assist with process mapping and workflow documentation related to inpatient discharge planning and intra-agency coordination. - Support development of standardized tools to facilitate process improvements, such as meeting facilitation guides, tracking templates, and process documentation. - Support re-procurement of DMH’s flagship community behavioral health services - Conduct analysis of client trends to support potential programmatic changes, particularly analysis of client incident rates - Support preparation for, and synthesis of, internal and potentially external stakeholder focus groups regarding program successes and challenges to date Preferred Qualifications: Period of Service: May 26, 2026 through September 04, 2026 - Strong writing and communication skills - Strong quantit...
