Aviator Nation Dreamland Prep Cook is responsible for prepping, cooking and assisting in production of the food to be served. Duties will include prep list, prepping ingredients, washing, cutting and prepping them to the rules of the chef. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment as well as keeping a sanitized work station. Strong knife skills and understanding of health department basics and certificates. Main duties will be: -Adhere to all recipes -Prep all raw produce for use -Prep Proteins for use -Prep all sauces for use -Portion food per quantity based on what is ordered. -Assist line cooks with replenishing when needed. -Put away incoming orders Skills needed: -Knife skills -Food safety knowledge -Organizational skills -Speed -Able to work under pressure -Ability to stand for long periods of time -Label and date all items prepped and other parishables. -Basic cooking skills.
