Overview Shift:7:30a-4:00p: Description: JOB DESCRIPTION: Identifies, analyzes and resolves problems identified within the Radiology reading rooms. Ensures that all patient images and information associated with each patient are available for each physician to review. Ensures that studies are readily available on PACS for physicians. Burns images to CD, or registers patients in imaging sharing software. Manages consultation requests from clinicians. Utilize application in order to provide requesting physicians with a preliminary report and associate and correct reports on patients. Verifies patient procedures are completed in the Radiology Information System. Check exam status to ensure final report. Merge patient data in regards to duplicate patients. Verify patient schedules and track patients. Assist technologists with data management regarding accession numbers on patients. Gathers data for patients done outside of Emory Healthcare. Coordinates workflow and image transfers with other facilities. Merge duplicate x-ray and medical record numbers. Assists physicians in providing image interpretation and documentation of studies.
