Terms and Conditions apply** Medical Surgical Care Unit is a 28-bed unit, all telemetry capable with 8-10 progressive care beds that is focused on caring for the adult medical and The Medical-Surgical Care Unit is a 28-bed telemetry capable unit with the capacity for 9-10 stepdown ICU beds. The MSCU is focused on caring for the adult population experiencing both chronic and acute illnesses with complex comorbidities and diverse social needs. The unit is fast paced, and works with a diverse background of nurses, physicians, team members, and patients. We foster a unit culture that empowers our new and experienced nurses to provide compassionate, holistic care and challenge themselves professionally. We use a Shared Governance model to drive changes in practice, encouraging all levels of team members to be part of the decision-making process. We place an emphasis on work-life balance and use AACN’s Healthy Work Environment standards to guide our team.
