POSITION SUMMARY: The position carries the combined responsibility of 0.3 administrative work and 0.7 clinical work. The senior assists in effective coordination and operation of the department and promotion and adherence to professional practice standards in the department/discipline of occupational therapy. Responsible for a clinical caseload within a physical medicince position at the Charlton site as per the job description for an Occupational Therapist. Working autonomously, but collaboratively with a broad range of disciplines toward specific interprofessional goals related to quality, risk management, education, and research. Assisting the manager in the integration of St. Joseph's vision, mission, values and strategice priorities into the practice of occupational therapy and developing high quality occupational therapy services and developing a strong high functioning occupational therapy team.
