Thermal Simulation Engineer

Job description

Duties and responsibilities: Development of new products using FEM/FVM/FDM in cooperation with Design Engineers under limited supervision. Evaluating and developing new design concepts. Preparing reports and discussing simulation results with the engineering team and Customers. Collaborating and communicating with other Aptiv technical centers and divisions worldwide. Continuous and systematic improvement of professional qualifications. Maintaining a solid understanding of Aptiv products and services. Improving the quality and accuracy of simulation results. Recommending design improvements based on simulation outcomes. Delivering tasks on time and in accordance with Aptiv's corporate and Kraków Technical Center quality systems. Requirements/Skills: Required (must have): Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, thermal, electromagnetics, or related). Knowledge of CAD tools. Good command of technical English. Good understanding of heat, electricity, and mass transport principles. Knowledge of MS Office. Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines. Demonstration of Aptiv values in daily work.
