Job Description: SUMMARY The National Accounts Manager (NAM) will have responsibility to manage and identify customer's needs by developing strategic goals and objectives. It is his/her responsibility to educate and develop the customer's interests in additional Ryder services (Full Service Lease, Programmed Maintenance, Lease Financing, Dedicated Contract Carriage and Integrated Logistics) by using the Ryder Sales Process. The purpose of the position is to help grow and maintain a book of established national accounts that generate roughly $10m to $15m in annualized revenue. This is a critical developmental position mid way between field sales and a Director of National Accounts. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Plan & implement strategic/consultative sales process to maximize account penetration. Evaluate the current and potential sales opportunities with existing customers. Implement customer review and margin improvement process to insure customer satisfaction and maximize Ryder's EVA.
