Key Responsibilities Patient Assessment & Care Planning: - Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including pain evaluation, functional status, and discharge needs - Monitor patient response to treatments and medications; promptly identify and report adverse effects - Assess barriers to learning and tailor education accordingly - Anticipate and address patient concerns related to treatment impact on lifestyle, family, and work Clinical Skills & Treatment Administration: - Demonstrate proficiency in infusion therapy, including chemotherapy administration and blood product transfusion - Administer medications safely in accordance with hospital policies and best practices - Utilize clinical equipment and procedures competently - Identify and report risk management and safety concerns Documentation & Compliance: - Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation in accordance with hospital policy - Document care plans, patient responses, and changes in condition - Verify physician orders and ensure accurate charge capture - Complete required screenings (e.g., PHQ for depression) and escalate findings appropriately - Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including repo...
