They are directly supervised by the Alachua County Health Department (ACHD) School Health Coordinator RN Supervisor in coordination with the Alachua County Public Schools (ACPS) Health Services Supervisor and Principal of the school assigned. The nurse shall be responsible and accountable for making decisions that are based upon the individual’s educational preparation, scope of practice and experience in nursing. This position will provide professional nursing services by coordinating and providing clinical services/activities in the school clinic(s).
