Hours: 24-Hours, Combination of 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts every 3rd weekend and holiday, Monday through Sunday $51.06 - $69.11 Job Summary: Responds immediately to critical events. Adjusts staffing levels to ensure the highest level of patient care. Functions as a clinical and administrative resource for the nursing staff. Assists staff with conflict resolution (i.e. staff/physician, patient/physician, staff/staff). Advocates for patients, families, and staff. Supports other departments to meet patient needs. Responsibilities: Essential Functions: - Responds immediately to critical events - Provides leadership and follow – up during critical events such as code blue, code red and code 100. - Provides appropriate follow – up (i.e. staff education, documentation, family / staff support, etc.) - Adjusts staffing levels to ensure the highest level of patient care. - Evaluates staffing needs continuously and adjusts as necessary to meet the needs of the patient for the current and next shifts. - Functions as a clinica...
