Project Engineer

Job description

NBM Railways is seeking a Project Engineer to support our Engineering and Maintenance of Way Department, in the delivery of capital and operational projects across the railway network. This role provides project engineering, technical, and coordination support for Maintenance of Way (MOW) and Rail Services initiatives, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The Project Engineer works closely with field supervision, operations, safety, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support planning, design, construction, progress billing and close-out activities. - Lead new construction and program maintenance initiatives related to upgrades and modifications of the rail network - Lead in the planning, development, updating, and monitoring of project and construction schedules - Support project engineering activities to ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and contract specifications - Serve as the project point of contact for customers, and partners owning the relationship throughout the project lifecycle - bid preparation and estimating, including...
