POSITION: RF ENGINEER: LOCATION: Chatsworth, CA: SHIFT: Day (7:00 am – 5:30 pm; Monday thru Thursday) Qualifications: BASIC FUNCTIONS: The RF Antenna Engineer will work with other Electrical Design Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, Drafters in developing and supporting aviation antennas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Basic simulation of antennas in frequencies ranging from VHF to Ku-band in CST or HFSS - Testing and verifying different Antennas in Anechoic chambers - Support production with production issues like ATP failures and troubleshooting - Additional responsibilities as they become necessary. EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: ( i.e Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Noise Figure Meters etc.) - B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Physics - 1-3 years of work experience in RF industry - Work experience in design and testing Antennas, OR Passive RF components and subsystems like combiner, splitter, isolator, attenuator… - Knowledge of basic Antenna design theory, behavior and fundamentals - Basic experience with EM simulation tools such as ANSYS HFSS, OR CST - Theoretical and practical knowledge of RF/Microwave passive components - Basic working kn...
