Job description

As part of the Project Execution Department, a Project Director is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a series of projects within a designated customer account, market space, or geographic area in concert with the company's strategy, commitments and goals. The primary focus of the Project Director is on customer relationships. The Project Director does not give direction to team members, except through the Project Manager(s), unless the Project Director is acting as the Project Manager on a specific project. This position reports to the Director of Projects to an assigned Business Line Vice President/Manager. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manages the strategic aspects of large engagements with multiple projects and mitigates any risk. - Oversees Senior Project Managers and Project Management Teams working on customer projects. - Reviews high-level deliverables across the projects. - Ensures quality assurance procedures take place for all projects. - Provides leadership to project teams within a customer account, market segment or geographic area. - Develops, implements, and maintains sound business practices. - De...
