OB/GYN Physician (PH5006 - Westover Hills)

Job description

Provides quality, comprehensive in-patient and/or out-patient (as per individual employment agreements) primary health care services to the Center’s patients. Reports directly to the Director of OB/GYN regarding clinical issues and activities related to the delivery of medical care. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Examines, diagnoses, treats and/or refers patients assigned to physician’s panel, on an in-patient and/or out-patient basis (as per individual employment agreements); prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assess medical conditions. 2. Maintains the electronic medical record for each patient seen in accordance with the Center’s established Health Information Management policies and procedures to include providing appropriate documentation. Completes thorough documentation of each patient’s visit in the electronic health record and ensures encounters are closed within 24 hours in accordance with the Center’s established Health Information Management policies and procedures. 3.
