Position Title BMT Registrar Westwood Administration - East: Position Summary / Career Interest: The BMT Registrar is responsible for ensuring efficient flow of patients through the health care setting by facilitating record retrieval, patient intake, and patient transplant scheduling of patients in a culturally sensitive manner with exceptional customer service; contributes to patient care by preparing medical records and timeline for visit, scheduling diagnostic test or consults, maintaining patient records, organizing program office, and/or assisting physicians, other medical staff, nurses, other interdisciplinary team members and support staff. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: - Assists in completion of transplant registry data reporting requirements for all post-transplant patients. - Attends weekly BMT patient review meeting and maintains patient update log; updates log throughout the BMT Case Management Log, a summary of status of all active patients. - Coordinates gathering of PHI, and collates and files accordingly within BMT department and hospital medical records patient charts. - Demonstrates competence in organizing and prioritizing disease specific inform...
