The Kepak Group are looking to recruit a Quality Control Technician for our manufacturing facility in McCarren Meats in Cavan. This is an excellent position for a Food Science individual who is looking for an excellent role within a very supportive environment. McCarren Meats Unlimited Company is one of the oldest traditional pig slaughtering, processing and bacon curing company in Ireland. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out hourly product checks on production line - Ensure product is produced to the customer specifications. - Perform routine traceability product checks - Investigating and reporting and non-conforming material in production areas - Prepare export pre-shipment reviews for DAFM - Specification administration - Conducting GMP/Glass and Hard Plastic Audits within the laboratory and production areas - Partake in any additional projects that will improve the QA area - Carry out Trichinella testing in line with DAFM requirements - Stock control for all laboratory equipment and chemicals - Sample preparation for External laboratory Requirements: Note: As with all positions, due to the nature of our business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time. - Food Scie...
