Job description
As a Building Automation Engineer I – Data Center Facilities , you will support the development, maintenance, and daily operation of building automation, control systems, and operational technology infrastructure across OCI’s mission-critical data center environments. This is an early-career role designed for engineers or technically strong controls candidates building foundational experience in data center automation. You will work closely with more senior automation engineers and site teams to support BMS, EPMS, PLC, SCADA, and OT network activities. The role provides hands-on exposure to industrial automation, controls troubleshooting, system testing, commissioning, documentation, and cybersecurity practices in high-availability environments. Key Responsibilities: Support configuration, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of building automation and OT systems, including BMS, EPMS, PLCs, SCADA/HMI, and related field devices. Assist with diagnostics, software and firmware updates, point-to-point verification, alarm checks, and device health reviews for controls and OT infrastructure.
