This position is required to work in the downtown Richmond office full-time, 5 days per week. This position does not telework. This is a non-exempt position. DOA’s mission is to provide a uniform system of accounting, financial reporting, and internal control adequate to protect and account for the Commonwealth’s financial resources, while supporting and enhancing the recognition of Virginia as the best managed state in the union. Job Duties: This position supports the Department of Accounts’ Fiscal Services Bureau by processing a variety of accounting transactions, such as vendor payments, travel reimbursement vouchers, travel advances, journal entries, expenditure transactions, and deposits, in alignment with the CAPP Manual and agency policies.
