We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! Organization: ABSMC-Summit Campus Position Overview: Cleans, handles, monitors and maintains anesthesia equipment. Maintains inventory/stock levels of anesthesia supplies and assists Anesthesiologist and nursing staff when inserting invasive lines. Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider: PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Familiar with medical terminology relating to operating room. Supply/distribution background. Knowledge of anesthesia equipment, invasive lines, respiratory equipment and OSHA standards/Center for Disease Control. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
