OFFERING PAID CREDENTIALS - Eliminating upfront costs for clearances & TB screening! SUMMARY: - The hourly Special Education Paraprofessional pay rate to work on assignment in Pottsgrove School District is $19/hour - The Special Education Paraprofessional will work on student days following the academic calendar year - Special Education Paraprofessionals will support students in one of the following areas: Autistic, Emotional, Instructional, Learning, and Life Skills CURRENT NEEDS: - Elementary Multiple Disabilities Classroom: 8:20am - 3:50pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch break) - Elementary Emotional Support Classroom: 8:20am - 3:50pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch break) - High School 1:1 for Autistic Support: 7am - 2:30pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch break) PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide assistance to students with special needs who have IEPs or 504 plans. - Reinforcing learning concepts and skills. - Working with students individually or in small groups. - Work with students on organizational skills, guide students in activities, monitor student progress. - Managing...
