Description Bring the energy, spark the fun, and help young athletes discover their love for sports! This position will lead Parent/Tot Sports classes and sports classes for 3-8 year old's. Classes are on Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 -7:30pm. Additional opportunities for hours. The instructor will lead, instruct, and guide a variety of sport classes and activities in a recreational setting according to program curriculum. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Implement and/or instruct program in assigned area. - Maintains records including: attendance, maintenance/neatness of the site and equipment. - Monitor weather conditions and security of program sites. - Supervise participants, ensure safety, enforce rules, follow discipline guidelines and resolve problems as needed. - Maintain an open channel of communication to the Supervisor and inform the Supervisor of problems or potential problems (i.e. disruptive behavior, injuries, dangerous equipment) including undesirable behaviors; assists with documentation when necessary. - Uses time appropriately to prepare for different aspects of the program. - Attend all trainings and meetings as required for the position. - Maintains know...
