Description At Surgery Center of Meridian Park , we are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The Registered Nurse will assist in the organization and daily function of the surgery center in accordance with established Federal, State, and accreditation standards and Center policies and procedures. Care for patients preparing for their surgical procedure. Monitor patient's vital signs and continuously evaluate patient recovery from anesthesia. May assist anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians. No Holidays, Evenings or Weekends (including Friday off)! ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS include the following: - Ability to collect clinical data with patient's medical and nursing care. Ability to set priorities. - Ability to communicate well with patients, families, teammates, physicians, other members of the healthcare team. - Recognizes legal and policy limits of individual practice. - Assesses, plans, evaluates and ensures the implementation of the patient's care to achieve identified outcomes and delivers safe patient care according to facility policy and procedure. - Assesses patient status on admission and on an ongoing basis. - Coordina...
