Summary of Position: This position is responsible for ensuring comprehensive environmental compliance at assigned repair shops. Responsibilities include obtaining and maintaining all required hazardous and solid waste permits, air permits, and wastewater/stormwater discharge permits for Union Tank Car Company operating locations. The incumbent serves as a champion for environmental compliance and must be a self‑starter capable of developing and implementing strategic directives with minimal supervision. The role requires up to 75% travel during the first year, decreasing to approximately 50% thereafter to support facilities across North America.
