Winpak is seeking a Mechanic/Millwright/Machinist based in Winnipeg, Manitoba to support our Maintenance Team Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Mechanic/Millwright/Machinist plays a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production and facility equipment. This position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting scheduled and emergency maintenance needs. QUALIFICATIONS: - Safely and efficiently install, modify, and replace machinery and parts. - Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work layouts. - Collaborate closely with mechanics, electrical technicians, and engineers. - Manage spare parts inventory and order replacements as per company procedures. - Maintain and operate machine shop equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and cutting tools. - Support scheduled shutdowns, shift work, and overtime as required to ensure equipment maintenance.
