Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position Purpose: This role serves as the primary coordinator and point of support for all external learners within the Graduate Medical Education department—including medical students, physician assistant (PA) students, nurse practitioner (NP) students, individuals participating in medical job shadowing experiences, and clinic preceptorships. This role also serves as the primary liaison with academic institutions. What you will do: Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health and MercyOne Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions. Coordinates schedules, learning experiences, evaluations, and issue resolution for external learners (medical observers, medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers). Verifies and maintains required documentation (e.g., background checks, immunization records, orientation materials) in alignment with policies, program expectations, and regulatory requirements.
