Job description

Design, implement and oversee operations for VDOT information technology projects or programs. Ensure operations are conducted in alignment with information technology strategies. Analyze data, monitor performance, develop policies and procedures and resolve complex problems and issues. Manages one or more supervisors in delivering a Portfolio of IT functions. IT functional portfolios include IT Governance and Compliance, Finance and Procurement, Service Management, Project and Portfolio Management, Architecture, Operations, Applications, Data & BI. Participate in a cohort of Portfolio Managers to ensure that cross cutting functional escalations are resolved and to ensure that handoffs between IT Portfolios and functions are happening in a way that produces the best results for IT stakeholders. As part of a cohort of Portfolio Managers, implements annual strategic focus area deliverables. Provide direction and leadership support for ITD activities and systems that enhance mission-critical business operations across the organization.
