You’ll use advanced telemetry technology to detect rhythm changes and intervene swiftly making a real difference in patient outcomes every day. - Unit Oversight & Leadership: The Telemetry Nurse oversees Centralized Telemetry operations and supervises monitor technicians (MTs). - Assignments & Reviews: Handles shift assignments, performs random rhythm reviews, and examines telemetry documentation. - Support & Resource: Provides rhythm interpretation and clinical guidance to MTs, Clinical Nurses, and other healthcare staff. - Patient Monitoring: Facilitates the communication of rhythm changes to unit nurses and supports the discontinuation of telemetry monitoring for patients who no longer meet criteria, thereby enhancing resource allocation. - Evaluation & Competency: Provides feedback to MTs, p...
