The team: Scotiabank’s Global Technology Enterprise Platforms (GTEP) Operations - Infrastructure Support’s Unix Infrastructure team is responsible for providing infrastructure support on servers running RedHat Linux & Solaris operating systems for various mission-critical business applications. The role: As part of our team, you will provide systems-level support for over 3,000 mission-critical application production and non-production servers. Your responsibilities include technical troubleshooting and providing solutions to complex issues, also work on capacity planning and providing recommendations. This role will include project work and interacting with multiple stakeholders. You will participate in semi-annual Disaster Recovery (DR) fail-over testing regularly as outlined in the bank's policies and procedures to ensure DR functionality. There is occasional overtime for after-hours or weekend work. Also, rotational 24x7 on-call support is required. Is this role right for you?
