Job description

Hours are full time days M-F Summary: As the leader of a classroom team, promotes the social, physical and intellectual growth of children by providing developmentally appropriate care; observing and documenting children's learning and development; supervising and evaluating team members; communicating effectively with children, all center staff and families; and serves as a role model in providing high quality child care. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.A Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college, which includes a minimum of 36 credits in Early Childhood Education, including 3 from a Child Growth and Development class, will be considered. Certification, Registration & Licensure: Certification required to obtain: Must be certified in Infant and Child CPR including AED training, and Basic 1st Aid within 6 months of hire; must complete Water Safety training within 1 year of employment. Experience: Must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with young children in a group setting.
