CareerNation is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support a 2-week occupational health screening event in Ronkonkoma NY by performing medical histories and physical exams . The NP will assess participants for workplace health clearance and collaborate with onsite staff to ensure a smooth and efficient screening process. This is a short-term, high-volume assignment well-suited for an NP with strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently within a team setting. DATES : 2-week long event in August or September, exact dates pending! TYPICAL SHIFT TIMES : Monday-Friday, 9a - 5pm (to be confirmed) Key Responsibilities: Conduct standardized histories and physicals (H&Ps) for participants Accurately document findings using provided forms or electronic systems Flag health concerns that require follow-up per clinical protocols Coordinate with Medical Assistants, administrative staff, and other providers Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and clinical integrity throughout the event Requirements: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York State Malpractice insurance coverage (required): Prior experience in occupational health, urgent care,...
