Job description
As a Senior Data Engineer - Snowflake Platform, you will share ownership of Rocket Companies’ Snowflake Data Platform , which is needed for business critical data integrations, operational excellence, and stringent data security. You will work closely with various Analytics and Engineering teams to support, secure, and grow our Snowflake Data Warehouse. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about data warehousing, security and compliance standards, and implementing new platform best practices to help drive the success of the business. You should also be driven to continuously innovate and improve the infrastructure that you own all while being self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple systems and teams. The Role: Support Data Engineering teams across the Family of Companies to utilize Snowflake as a platform in an efficient manner. Write and tune SQL including database queries, DDL, and DML, with a focus on Snowflake-specific optimization. Establish and enforce security best practices, access controls, and auditing on the Snowflake platform to ensure compliance with standards such as SOX and CCPA.
