Job DetailsJob Location: Grand Recovery Shelter - Portland, OR 97214Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $24.50 - $24.50 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Category: Janitorial/MaintenancePOSITION DESCRIPTION Position: Custodian: Supervisor: Shelter Manager: Location: SE Grand Recovery Shelter (636 SE Grand Ave) Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm: Wage: $24.50 hourly: Eligible for Language Differential: Classification: Non-Exempt, Represented, Benefits-Eligible, Full-Time: GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: In coordination with all facility staff, provide custodial and laundry services, including basic maintenance support, to ensure a clean and safe environment. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: CUSTODIAL DUTIES: Assure the facility is maintained in a clean, sanitary and safe condition. On a daily basis, clean and inspect offices, bathrooms, floors, stairways, and common areas. Empty trash containers. On a regular basis, or as requested: Clean air vents at least monthly. Wash, dry, and fold house laundry, including bedding; launder bedding for up to 200 beds weekly at full capacity and perform daily laundry as needed. Wax and buff floors at least once a month.
