Job description

Oakdale Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their team on a casual basis, 16 hours/week (2 days per week). The dietician will be responsible for creating the diets of patients and maintaining proper dietary standards. Education : - Bachelor's Degree or higher - Licensed Dietitian (required) Skills: - Performs nutritional assessment of new and existing residents - Develops residents care plan with measurable goals quarterly or as needed; updates care plans as required - Evaluates resident's outcomes at least quarterly - Calculates nutritional needs of all tube fed residents upon admission - Consults with nursing department to evaluate needs of patients - With the assistance of the Food Service Director: Create menu plans that both appeal to the residents, meet dietary guidelines and adhere to the department budget. - Strong attention to detail. - Positive attitude is needed to provide excellent customer service. Ability to maintain assigned work hours: - Has sufficient endurance to perform tasks over a long period of time.
