EVS Shift Supervisor

Job description

The EVS Shift Supervisor assists in managing and supervising the Environmental Services (EVS) Department on an assigned shift. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Oversee operations of Environmental Services including: the cleaning of the casino, hotel lobby, spa/salon, public access areas, restaurants and catering/banquet rooms on an assigned shift. 2. Assist with instruction and training of EVS staff. 3. Maintain exceedingly high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. 4. Monitor areas to ensure proper appearance of facilities is maintained through use of checklists and visual inspections. 5. Monitor inventory/supplies and recommend purchase of supplies to supervisor. 6. Perform EVS duties along with staff as deemed necessary. 7. Assist in other projects, as required. 8. Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy.
