Title: Instructor in Nursing Division: Provost's Office: Department: Kinney College of Nursing & Health Professions FLSA Status: Exempt: Salary Range: Annual Salary: EEO Job Group: 2 C6: Position Summary: The University of Southern Indiana seeks applications for a 10-month Instructor in Nursing. The Instructor in Nursing position is renewable and non-tenure track. Position begins August 1, 2026 or when filled. Duties/Responsibilities: This position will assume classroom teaching responsibilities as well as clinical supervision of students in the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Required Knowledge and Skills: To qualify for the instructor position, a Master’s degree in Nursing is required. All candidates must hold a valid and unencumbered Indiana (or compact) RN license. Also, all applicants who are eligible for a compact RN license must apply and hold a compact RN license. Preferred Knowledge and Skills: APRN is preferred but not required. Regular Work Hours/Travel Requirements: May require clinical hours outside of Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:30.
