Job description

Overview The X-Ray Technician performs x-rays for surveillance and injury care and various clinical and administrative duties in support of the intake, examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the Medical Manager, Medical Director, Physician, and Mid-Level Providers. X-Ray Technician Responsibilities: - Performs complete X-Ray and Medical Assistant responsibilities independently. Partners with the Medical team ensuring patient care is of a high standard of service - Ensure operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques - Maintains radiology supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies - Compiles with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions - Maintains professional and tec...
