Job description

Role Summary: The Warehouse Store-person is responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate packaging and unpackaging of materials, and managing inventory storage. This role requires maintaining high standards of service for both internal and external customers while adhering to safety and operational procedures. Additionally, the Material Handler may operate a forklift to transport various goods and materials within the facility. Responsibilities: Conduct general picking and packing duties. Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against the bill of lading and packing list. Engage with purchasing and other departments to resolve discrepancies in packing lists. Conduct inspections and identify damaged goods as needed. Accurately record received materials in the appropriate purchase orders and ensure system (ERP) updates. Verify the accuracy of outbound shipments and ensure proper packaging to prevent damage. Handle document filing and archiving as required.
