Overall Purpose: As AVP Senior Legal Counsel – Tax, you will serve as a primary legal advisor on tax matters across the enterprise. This position represents the company in federal, state and local tax controversies, as well as assisting the business with tax planning matters. You will collaborate closely with internal business units, external counsel, and tax authorities to ensure the company’s tax and financial strategies align with strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Advise executive leadership, the Tax Department and business teams on legal matters pertaining to federal, state and local tax matters. Assist the Tax Department in defending the company in federal, state and local tax controversies, from audit through administrative appeals and litigation (as necessary).
