Product Management Intern

Job description

Product managers lead a product’s lifecycle, from strategy and planning to development, launch, and ongoing management, bridging business, user experience, and technology to deliver customer-focused outcomes that achieve business goals. As a product management intern at Emerson’s Test & Measurement (formerly NI) business unit, you will work directly with tenured product managers, software engineers, product marketers, and others, on real problems that affect real customers. By the end of the summer, you'll have a concrete understanding of how software products are shaped by user needs, competitive dynamics, and technical constraints. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Customer & market discovery — Translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into clear problem statements and user personas. Competitive & strategic research — Track industry trends and benchmark NI’s offerings against competitors. Summarize findings for stakeholder audiences.
