Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) & Service Architecture is responsible for establishing and governing the enterprise CMDB and service architecture framework to ensure accurate, dependency-aware visibility across all technology systems and business services. This role provides executive ownership of service mapping, configuration governance, and operational data integrity to enable informed incident response, disaster recovery, change management, and risk decisions. The Director ensures that system relationships, ownership, and lifecycle data are reliable, automated, and aligned with enterprise resilience and security objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES: CMDB Strategy & Governance: - Define and execute the enterprise CMDB strategy and roadmap. - Establish data models, service taxonomy, and configuration standards. - Implement governance processes to maintain CMDB data accuracy and integrity. - Drive automation and system integrations to reduce manual updates. - Provide executive reporting on CMDB maturity and data quality metrics.
