Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish, One-year appointment Department: World Languages & Cultures Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish, one-year appointment in the Department of World Languages and Cultures. Eastern is Connecticut’s Public Liberal Arts University and is located in Willimantic, Connecticut which is 1.5 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from New York City. Eastern is one of four universities in the Connecticut State College and University System (CSCU). The position also offers substantial health and retirement benefits. Position Description: Teaching duties are four courses per semester at all undergraduate levels and may include language instruction to heritage & non-heritage learners, courses in culture, upper-division conversation and composition, Spanish for the Professions, film, and translation/interpretation.
