Job DetailsJob Location: Houston Office - Houston, TX 77084Position Details: Located in Houston, Texas and reporting to the Supervisor of Revenue Accounting. Main responsibility of this position is integral to the month-end close cycle and will be responsible for booking revenue, posting journal entries, processing accruals, and reconciling assigned accounts for specific properties. In addition, this position will assist in preparing year-end work papers and documentation and ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations, policies, and internal control safeguards. Other responsibilities of this role will include assisting with special projects, research, and revenue inquiries. The Senior Revenue Accountant will also prepare specific reports and analysis as requested and under the direction of management. Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately record monthly revenue, royalty, and transportation costs for assigned properties. Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
