ABOUT YOU: As a Sample Technician, you will be a reliable, motivated and safety‑focused individual with strong attention to detail and an interest in hands‑on technical work. You’re comfortable following procedures, working to industry standards, and supporting accurate sampling and testing activities. Required skills and experience: Good verbal and communication skills. Driving licence. Good physical fitness and ability to work alone and unsupervised. Able to gain knowledge of sampling techniques. Ability to gain knowledge of relevant laboratory operations/standards and properties of relevant chemical products. Relevant IT skills. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: The Sample Technician will draw petrochemical, biofuel, feedstock, waste oil samples from road traffic wagon containers using Intertek Immingham’s sampling gantry. all stages of processing, Use of industry standard, approved and agreed techniques at all times. Conduct the preparation and testing of drawn samples within designated operating hours, as directed by the site supervision/management team.
