Job Overview The Maintenance Crafts performs a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the plant and the machinery operating. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by: What will help you thrive in this role? - Working safely on a variety of equipment to carry out preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance. - Troubleshooting electronic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment (including, turret punches, laser, Mechanical/hydraulic power presses, and other specialized equipment). - Reading, interpreting, and programming PLC controllers and languages. - Determining root cause of equipment failures and developing preventative measures. - Performing electrical/mechanical fabrication and alterations. - Diagnosing machine operation failures and downtime utilizing machine manuals, PLCs, and other tools, including diagrams, wiring layouts, blueprints, schematics etc. - Inspecting, operating, or testing machinery/equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. - Using tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, drills etc.) to precision measuring instruments. - Assembling, inst...
