In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin. Job Description: Aquila Mine has an exciting opportunity for a Seam Gas Coordinator to join the team, based in Middlemount. You will play a key role in managing and implementing the short- and medium-term surface gas drainage strategy for the mine. Reporting to the Tech Services (Vent & Gas) Superintendent, you will be responsible for planning and maintaining the seam gas drainage processes, while coordinating ancillary surface operation activities that is consistent with delivering the operational requirements of the mine. In addition, you will ensure all activities undertaken are in line with statutory requirements and Anglo American standards.
