This position is reporting directly and centrally to the Head of Inbound Supply Chain Management - Raw Material Purchasing (Hannover-Germany) and locally to the Head of Raw Materials HUB EMEA (Lousado-Portugal). The person is responsible for ensuring global raw material deliveries move efficiently from suppliers to Continental plants worldwide by optimizing performance, reducing costs, and maintaining high service levels. Target is to streamline supply chain processes to reduce lead times and eliminate bottlenecks, but also escalate disruptions in the right point in time to keep Conti tire plants running.
