Description Arizona State University, Edson College of Nursing & Health Innovation, is seeking a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure-track, 9-month Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor to teach in the Prelicensure Nursing Program. Responsibilities may include didactic, clinical, lab/experiential/simulation, and online teaching. Essential Functions: Instruction & Curriculum Development: - Demonstrates expert knowledge in the field and the ability to transmit and extend that knowledge to students and others through dynamic, stimulating, and creative strategies. - Demonstrates the ability to develop critical, creative thinkers through continuous planning, analysis, evaluation, and revision of courses and workshops. - Demonstrates current knowledge in the field and sustained effectiveness in teaching in the classroom and clinical area. - Teaches in a variety of environments, which may include classroom, clinical, laboratory (experiential/simulation), or distance/online. - May teach on multiple campus sites - Develops, implements, and evaluates innovative teaching methods. - Prior to teaching a clinical course: Faculty must demonstrate c...
