Description The Postdoctoral Researcher position is available in the Immunology laboratory of Dr. Lalit Beura at Brown University (https://sites.brown.edu/beuralab/). Our research spans diverse areas, including: ● Unraveling the Fundamental Mechanisms Governing Mucosal Resident Memory T Cell Development and Persistence. ● Pioneering the Development of Novel In Vitro Systems to Model Immune-Stromal Interactions in Mucosal Tissues. ● Investigating Signals from Commensal and Pathogenic Microbes Influencing T Cell Differentiation and Function. This search is to identify a suitable postdoctoral candidate to fulfill the following duties in the Beura Lab: ● The postdoc will lead a research program investigating the interaction between reproductive epithelium and immune cells that shape mucosal immunity. ● The postdoc will design, perform, and analyze independent research experiments in collaboration with the P/I. ● The postdoc will mentor junior lab personnel - graduate students, staff, and undergraduates. ● They will contribute to scientific publications by writing and editing articles, preparing quality figures, and analyzing data.
