Credit Analyst

Job description

Evaluates financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the bank. Conducts periodic credit reviews of financial and credit information to assist lending and credit administration department personnel in the credit decision making process. Complies with banking regulations which are applicable to job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives. Performs a complete review and/or analysis of specific borrowing relationships and in conjunction with the Credit Administration department, prepares necessary reports to support credit making decisions. The final product is utilized by bank management to determine the creditworthiness of the customer. Challenges include preparing the necessary analysis or report in an objective fashion that is consistent with Central Bank of Boone County lending policy and the Central Bancompany reporting standards. Prepares an objective, accurate, and concise analysis and/or review of financial and credit information utilizing bank and industry standards.
