As an Installation Technician, a typical day may include: Perform electrical field installations of advanced complexity. Perform the following functions: Protective relay installation, testing troubleshooting Panel and cabinet demolition, installation and modification Cable routing and assembly (including fiber) Control house integration and assembly: Conduit forming and installation: Develop and maintain knowledge of SEL Engineering Services processes and products. Supervise installation technicians on projects of basic to moderate complexity. Generate and approve LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) plans. Generate field installation estimates for projects of basic to moderate complexity. Acts as a mentor to Installation Technician I. Required Qualifications: Basic working knowledge of analog and digital electronics Basic ability to utilize AutoCAD for updating field as-built drawings Ability to read and comprehend both mechanical and electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, one-line diagrams and three-line diagrams SQEW certification: Completion of COM-100 and COM-101 certification Willing to travel up to 75% of the time Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Preferred Qualificati...
